The Art at Bow Lake

The Art at Bow Lake

June–October 2026

This summer/fall season, The Lodge at Bow Lake is proud to host The Art at Bow Lake, an exclusive exhibition and sale of original landscapes by Terri Kelly Moyers and John Moyers. Bow Lake has long been a place shaped by artists. Carl Rungius, Peter and Catharine Whyte, Walter Phillips, and Jimmy Simpson himself all spent time painting in the area, drawn by the scale, light, and quiet force of the landscape. The Moyers continue that tradition. Since 1979, they have returned to the Canadian Rockies to paint en plein air, creating small-format oils that capture single moments in cherished mountain places. From June through October 2026, a collection of 30 paintings will hang throughout The Lodge and be available for purchase during the season. Guests may view and purchase works during their stay.

For those not visiting, purchase inquiries may be made after June 1 by contacting [email protected].
